The Biddeford Gazette is proud to announce that Tammy Belanger of Biddeford has joined our volunteer team as a columnist covering City Hall and other issues impacting the city of Biddeford.
Tammy is a longtime resident, small business owner, photographer and dog lover. “I am a wife and a mother of three adults who were raised here. I care deeply about our community, and the people who live here,” she says.
Belanger’s most recent column focused on the issue of eroding public trust in Biddeford government. She also penned a May 13 column about the city’s municipal budget debate; Biddeford Needs to Face a Financial Reality.
“I am over the moon that Tammy has decided to join our team,” said Gazette co-founder Randy Seaver.
“Adding Tammy’s voice to these page underscores our exact mission to keep people connected to the city where they live, work and play,” Seaver said. “We are constantly searching for partnerships and opportunities for collaboration from community members.”
“The Gazette is a community-driven news source, and that can only happen if most of our content comes from the community,” Seaver added.
