The Biddeford Gazette is wholly owned and operated by Biddeford Gazette, Inc, a non-profit media organization that is incorporated in the state of Maine and based in Biddeford.
The Biddeford Gazette was founded in November 2024 by Randy and Laura Seaver of Biddeford. Randy is a veteran journalist with more than three decades of professional experience in journalism, advocacy and public relations. Laura served two terms on the Biddeford City Council, two terms on the Biddeford School Committee and was appointed to the city’s Policy Committee.

Craig Pendleton of Old Orchard Beach, Maine serves as treasurer and chief financial officer of Biddeford Gazette, Inc.
Craig also serves as chair of the Biddeford Gazette’s Community Advisory Council.
Craig has many years of leadership and management experience. He previously served as executive director of the Biddeford + Saco Chamber of Commerce & Industry and as transportation director of Biddeford-Saco-OOB Transit.
Craig also currently serves on the board of PeoplesChoice Credit Union.
