Following a brief press conference with Gov. Janet Mills, Mayor Liam LaFountain issued an updated statement regarding what the city is doing in the wake of Monday’s fatal shooting. LaFountain said he has been in contact with the victim’s family, but they asked for those conversations to remain private.
