According to multiple sources, the man shot and killed this morning by ICE agents has been identified as Jean Sebastian Guerrero, a 26-year-old Colombian national.
According to Mayor Liam LaFountain, Guerro was not the subject of the ICE investigation or warrant.
LaFountain told reporters that he learned that information during a briefing call earlier today with U.S. Senator Angus King.
Sen King relayed information he was able to obtain from Markwayne Mullin, the United States Secretary of Homeland Security,
Details of the shooting remain unclear, but some eyewitness said Guerreo was trying to flee the scene in a white Kia Sedan when he was shot multiple times by an ICE agent.
A 7pm vigil is scheduled to begin shortly at Mechanics Park, located at the corner of Main and Water streets in Biddeford.
