Several residents of Biddeford’s Cathedral Oaks neighborhood reported a “heavy police presence” early Tuesday morning that included agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
According to witnesses, law enforcement officers were seen coming in and out of a single-family residence at 41 Cathedral Oaks Drive. Witnesses say it appears that “several boxes of documents” were taken from the home.

A spokesperson for the FBI described the situation as part of an “ongoing investigation,” confirming only that the FBI and “partner agencies” conducted a court-authorized search of the home.
“There is no threat to public safety,” said Tim Callery, a spokesperson for the FBI’s Boston field office, which handles operations in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Callery told the Gazette that he was unable to provide further detail because the situation is part of an ongoing investigation. He also said he was unable to provide any details about other agencies that were involved in the incident.
Biddeford Police Chief JoAnne Fisk said this morning’s operation was not part of a coordinated effort with local enforcement agencies.
According to property tax records, the home is owned by Noora Abd.
The three-bedroom, two-bath home is assessed at $621,000.
