Are you looking for a job or just a new opportunity? If so, you may want to attend an August 12 “summer hiring event” that is being co-sponsored by the Biddeford Saco Chamber of Commerce and the Maine Department of Labor; and other organizations.
The free event will run from 3 to 6p.m. at the Saco Bay Hotel (formerly the Ramada) at 352 Main Street in Saco.
The event is part of the Chamber’s ongoing “12@12” series and will feature more than 40 employers from a broad range of occupational fields and is designed for all levels of Job seekers.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with employers who are looking to fill both full and part-time positions as well as seasonal job opportunities.
From shipyards to healthcare and state job opportunities, employers from nearly every occupation will be represented at the event. Whether you are a laborer or someone with a post-graduate degree, you will like find employers who want to discuss opportunities with you.
Resume stations and break-out areas for on-the-spot interviews will be available.
The event is being co-sponsored by the Old Orchard Beach Chamber of Commerce, Old Orchard Beach/Saco Adult Education and Biddeford Adult Education. Ample parking will be available behind the building.
