The Biddeford Lady Tigers softball defeated the Massabesic Mustangs 14-7 on Tuesday at Doran Field, thanks in part to eight runs in the fifth inning.

Mariah Villandry singled, scoring two runs, Amaya Carter doubled, scoring two runs, Corinne Ramunno drew a walk, scoring one run, Aine Sanchioni singled, scoring two runs, and Kaysie Mitchell hit a solo home run to center field.
Madi Roy earned the win for Biddeford Tigers. The righty allowed 12 hits and seven runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking nine.
Madison Proctor took the loss for the Mustangs. The pitcher went four innings, surrendering 12 runs (11 earned) on 16 hits, striking out one and walking four.
The Lady Tigers face Cheverus today (June 11) in an away game.
