The Biddeford Tigers baseball team could not keep pace with the Kennebunk Rams on Saturday, losing 4-3 during an away game at Kennebunk High School.

The Rams were the first to get on the board in the first when Joe DiGiovanni hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Kennebunk committed an error, which helped Biddeford tie the game at one in the top of the second.

But the Rams rebounded and took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Jackson Ralls lined out, scoring one run, to give Kennebunk the advantage, 2-1.
Griffin Whitney earned the win for the Rams. The hurler surrendered three hits and three runs (one earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking four.
Ernie Dore took the loss for Biddeford. The hurler went five innings, giving up four runs on five hits, striking out four and walking five. Logan Jones earned the save.
Dore, Alex Gosselin, and Evan Doyon each collected one hit for Biddeford. Marcus Soucy led the team with one run batted in. Soucy stole two bases. The Tigers were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Colton Sirois made the most plays with five.

David Tillotson, Kennebunk’s number eight hitter, led the team with two hits in three at-bats. Tillotson and Jack Joyce each stole multiple bases for the Rams.
Kennebunk ran wild on the base paths, accumulating six stolen bases for the game.
Biddeford will face Cheverus on Monday.
