The Biddeford Art Walk returns on Friday, June 19, from 5 to 8 p.m., bringing artists, makers, musicians, and local businesses together for an evening of creativity and community throughout downtown Biddeford.
Presented by Art of Biddeford, a program of Heart of Biddeford, the free, self-guided event takes place on the third Friday of each month through October.

This month’s Art Walk will feature the inaugural opening of BlackBare Studio, along with exhibitions, open studios, and special programming from participating businesses and creative spaces throughout downtown. Featured stops and pop-up vendors include Belfire Hot Glass Gallery, UNÉA, Luci’s Lather Lab, Lucky Little Eva, and numerous artists and makers across Main Street, downtown storefronts, and the mills.
Visitors can also join a free Third Friday Photo Walk led by local photographer Josh Johnson. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. from his studio at 22 Pearl Street, the guided walk offers participants an opportunity to explore downtown through a creative lens while experiencing the Art Walk.
In addition to featured exhibitions and events, attendees can enjoy open studios throughout the mills, live performances, pop-up vendors, local restaurants, and interactive experiences hosted by artists, businesses and community organizations.
“The Art Walk continues to showcase the incredible creativity and energy that exists throughout Biddeford,” said Larry Weyand, Program Director for Art of Biddeford. “Each month brings new artists, new experiences, and new opportunities for people to connect with the creative community that continues to grow here.”
Artists, craftspeople, musicians, performers, studios, and businesses are encouraged to participate throughout the season. Businesses may host artists or performances, and artists can request pairing with participating venues or participate independently downtown.
