CONTRIBUTED STORY | Dudziak’s Gymnastics

Hannah Kenniston, a level 10 gymnast and student at Thornton Academy, was recognized for her commitment to the University of New Hampshire’s NCAA Division I Women’s Gymnastics program during a signing ceremony on Tuesday at Dudziak’s Gymnastics in Biddeford.

Originally recruited as a member of the Class of 2027, Hannah was asked by the UNH coaching staff to join the Wildcats a year earlier. After meeting the academic requirements to graduate ahead of schedule, she reclassified to the Class of 2026 and will begin her Division I academic and gymnastics career this fall.

Hannah received a Trustees academic scholarship and an athletic scholarship from UNH as a reflection of her exceptional academic and athletic success and potential. UNH is one of only 62 NCAA Division 1 women’s gymnastics programs nationwide.

A gymnast since age three, Hannah joined a competitive team at age six and advanced to national qualifying competitions by age 13.

She currently competes as a Level 10 gymnast, the highest level of the USA Gymnastics Women’s Development Program (DP). In addition to her own training time, which is over 18 hours a week year-round, she also coaches the younger competitive gymnasts.

Highlights of Hannah’s gymnastics career include:

• Four-year Level 10 gymnast

• Two-time qualifier to the Level 10 DP National Championships

• 2025 Level 10 National Championships – All-Around Qualifier; 17th on Vault

• 2025 Regional Championships – 6th All-Around, 3rd Vault, 4th Floor

• 2024 Level 10 National Championships – Vault Qualifier; 12th on Vault

• 2024 Regional Championships – 2nd Vault, 6th Floor

• 2023 Level 9 Eastern Championships – All-Around Qualifier; 4th Vault, 10th Floor

Academically, Hannah has maintained a 4.08 GPA while completing numerous Honors and AP courses. She is a member of the National Honor Society and has earned academic honors throughout her high school career.
