After a pair of tough losses, the Biddeford Varsity Tigers baseball team came back strong Thursday, ousting the Deering High School Rams 7-2 at St Louis Field in Biddeford.

The Tigers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Alex Gosselin singled, scoring two runs, and Marcus Soucy doubled, scoring one run.
Biddeford added one run in the second after Evan Doyon singled to the left side of the infield.
The Tigers then added one run in the third after Michael Elwell singled down the right field line.

Ernie Dore earned the win for Biddeford. The pitcher allowed three hits and two runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out four and walking five. Liam Brunelle took the loss for the Rams. The starter went five innings, giving up seven runs (five earned) on 11 hits, striking out five and walking none.
Biddeford piled up 11 hits in the game. Gosselin provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led the Tigers with two runs batted in. The third baseman went 1-for-3 on the day. Soucy and Payton Blais each collected two hits for Biddeford.
Finn Ridge led the team with one run batted in. Miles Lawrence, Lowell King, and Huck Torierri each collected one hit for Deering.

The Tigers will travel to Sanford for their next game tomorrow, Saturday, May 23.
