Earlier this year, University of New England officials expressed frustration and said they felt as if they were being publicly attacked because of their plans to construct a 180-foot research pier on the Saco River. Today, those same officials are touting the results of a recent opinion poll that shows "strong public support for the school’s mission and reputation."
