The Heart of Biddeford and the Biddeford-Saco Chamber of Commerce will host a nonpartisan legislative candidate forum on Thursday, October 1.
The public event will not be a typical debate, but rather a question-and-answer forum in which candidates hoping to represent Biddeford in the Maine House of Representatives and the Maine State Senate will take a variety of questions from a panel of local journalists.

The candidate forum is free and open to the public and will take place at Biddeford High School’s Little Theater on Maplewood Avenue, from 6–7 p.m.
State Senate candidates Henry Ingweresen and Jason Litalien; and Maine House candidates Traci Gere, Marc Lessard and Marc Malon; have confirmed they will attend the event, according to organizers.
Allen Daggett, a Republican challenging Gere in House Dist. 134, has not yet confirmed that he will attend. Other Biddeford races are uncontested.
The media panel will include representatives from the Portland Press Herald, Biddeford Gazette, Saco Bay News and Biddeford Buzz.
