Biddeford’s goalkeeper – senior Tyler Pelletier – held the Thornton Academy Trojans at bay on Friday in a thrilling match that ended with a 1-1 tie after two overtimes.

Pelletier only allowed one, but blocked 14 on Thornton’s turf, where Biddeford fans were vastly outnumbered.
Below are video clips from Biddeford parents – including Christopher Arsenault and Amy Kearns — who attended the game.
Arsenault’s video shows his son, Liam Arsenault, a senior captain, taking the throw-in — allowing Adriano Nadani to score the Tiger’s only goal and letting the Trojans know that Biddeford was ready to play.
The boys’ soccer team will host Massabesic High School on Tuesday, Sept. 22, beginning at 5 p.m.
