Both teams were 2-0 at the start of the game, but the Tigers’ offense — led by Ernie Dore with three touchdown passes — proved formidable and Biddeford’s defense was stubborn and agile.

According to Head Coach Steve Allosso, Junior Estavao Lembissa caught two touchdown passes and had a fumble recovery.

“Trey Coleman had a beautiful 37-yard run, and Cameron Bergeron had a 19-yard touchdown catch,” Allosso said.

Marcus Perkins led tacklers with nine. Alex Gosselin had two interceptions, and Ro Harrison also got a pick off the Shipbuilders.

Allosso pointed out that the Tigers’ defense has allowed only two touchdowns in three games.

The Tigers will travel to Falmouth on Friday, Sept. 25.
