As a volunteer member of the York County Chapter of the Maine Prison Re-Entry program, I would visit the York County jail frequently, and I would meet with Sheriff [William] King on a number of occasions.
The sheriff was always very co-operative, helpful and professional. I observed he was very well respected by both the staff and the inmates.
It is a pleasure to be working with him.
It is for this reason, even though I am a MAGA conservative, I strongly support the re-election of Sheriff King, this coming November.
